Privacy Policy

1. Local quit data

The app stores your quit date, spending estimate, personal reasons, risk-moment categories, cravings, milestones, past attempts, and optional relapse notes in a local database on your device. No account is required.

Your personal reasons and free-text relapse notes are not sent to analytics. They leave the device only if you choose to include the app in a device backup managed by Apple.

2. Anonymous product analytics

We use a self-hosted Umami service to understand broad product usage and improve the experience. Events may include an app-generated installation identifier, predefined action categories, app version, platform, device language, and timestamps.

Analytics never include your name, email address, personal reasons, spending amount, or free-text notes. We do not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Diagnostics

We use Sentry to diagnose crashes and reliability problems. Diagnostic information may include the app version, operating system, device model, crash traces, and technical context needed to reproduce an error. Default personally identifying data collection is disabled.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Apple processes payments through the App Store. RevenueCat processes subscription status, product identifiers, purchase history, and an anonymous app user identifier so the app can unlock paid access. We do not receive your full payment card details.

5. Website data

This website uses self-hosted Umami analytics to measure aggregate page views and navigation. It does not use advertising pixels or sell visitor data.

6. Data deletion and retention

You can remove local app data by using the development reset where available or by deleting the app from your device. Anonymous analytics and diagnostics are retained only as needed to understand product use, maintain reliability, and meet legal obligations.

7. Third-party services

Easy Quit Vape relies on Apple App Store services, RevenueCat, Sentry, and our self-hosted Umami instance. Each service processes only the information needed for its role and is also governed by its own terms and privacy practices.

8. Children

Easy Quit Vape is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of information processed about you. Because the app is account-free and local-first, we may be unable to connect an anonymous installation identifier to you without information you provide.
